hi!
I am a student at the University of the West Indies for a BA in Visual Arts. I specialise in illustration, however, I am open to a wide range of work- such as graphic design, photography and fibrecraft. I am looking for opportunities to explore more tools and network beyond my circle.
I hope that we can work together!

Client Fyzabad Anglican Secondary School Council
Event Valentine’s Day Photobooth Fundraiser
Program Canva
Due to the religious beliefs of the school and the targeted demographic being under 18 years of age, the inspirations were kept non-romantic and instead drew from the popular culture of the generation. The scrapbook style is reminiscent of the journaling craze amongst young women. The main basis was the famous “Burn Book” from the 2004 film, “Mean Girls”. This style allowed the main motifs of Valentine’s Day such as pink & red and heart motifs stay in the design without inferring anything too mature. Overall, it created a youthful approach to the holiday. The event was successful with this poster.

Event Carnival Friday Fundraiser
Program Canva
These were designed to be informative posters about the school’s Carnival Friday fundraiser; featuring a music competition based on the school’s houses and a BBQ sale. In a previous year, it was requested that women in carnival costumes not be featured as it conflicts with the religious beliefs of the school. So, the focus of this poster was on the typography. Each feather is coloured to represent the six houses. A “night” and “day” version was made.
These designs were rejected in favour of another designer’s submission.
This is a draft of physical tickets made to accompany the poster and advertisments

Client Sir Arthur Lewis Hall of Residence Executive Team
Program Adobe Illustrator (Design)
Provisual (Mockup)
As the new executive team has been voted in, they have requested new branding for this tenure. The main motifs of the hall are gargoyles, and yellow & black. Based on their previous tenure, residents expressed disinterest in merchandise featuring the gargoyle mascot for various reasons, ranging from it appearing too masculine to contradicting their religious beliefs.
In my approach to the design, I minimized the gargoyle symbols and instead drew from current graphic and fashion trends, specifically vintage tour merchandise The hall is synonymous with having residents from every island in the Caribbean and is used to house many exchange students from around the world. Each nation and their capital is listed. Also keeping manufacturing costs in mind, the colour palette is limited to yellow, black and white.
